A 134 page technical report on the results of aerial surveys in 2024-25 on the Baffin Island caribou. The report found the caribou population had rebounded from an estimated 4,645 in 2014 to an estimate of 48,681. The report credits reductions in harvest levels and other hunting regulations for the recovery of the population.
